Alia Shawkat (born April 18 1989) is one the richest and most famous TV actresses. Alia Shawkat grew up in Riverside California. She played Maeby on the Fox show Arrested Development, a part which won her a TV Land Future Classic Award. She appeared in Whip It with Ellen Page. Shawkat was Hannah the character from State of Grace between 2001 and 2004. Shawkat portrayed Maeby Funke throughout the entirety of Arrested Development's run from 2003 until 2018, as part of its regular cast. The series received nearly universally positive reviews with Shawkat's performance occasionally singled out for praise. Brian M. Palmer described Shawkat as "one of the brightest stars in a show that is populated with the brightest lighting" and Scott Weinberg (eFilmCritic) called her a hilarious young lady.
