April Bowlby is an American model and actress. The actress was known as Kandi, Stacy Barrett and Rita Farr from the CBS Comedy series Two and a Half Men. April Michelle Bowlby (born April Michelle Bowlby) is an American Actor most well-known for her role as Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva as well as Kandi the TV sitcom Two and a Half Men. Her first job was modeling, then films and TV programs. Her first appearance on small screen was as an extra on the show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation followed by single-episode appearances in different series. Soon, she landed the role as Kandi on Two and a Half Men. Bowlby was recognized internationally for her Stacy Barrett role in Drop Dead Diva. Bowlby portrayed Rita Farr/Elastigirl on the American online series Titans. Her character will appear in a upcoming spinoff of Doom Patrol. Bowlby has appeared in TV films like Sands of Oblivion or The Wrong Daughter. Her first big screen appearance was with All Roads Lead Home. Later, she was in films like The Slammin Salmon, and From Prada To Nada. She was a student at East Union High School. Her first studies were French and Ballet in Moorpark College. Then she decided to pursue acting. She studied with Ivana Chaubbuck and landed the role in a television program (Kandi, Two and a Half Men) several months following the Hollywood audition. Bowlby appeared in many TV series, including CSI in 2004. She also appeared on CSI: NY as of 2005. Freddie in 2005 as Sydney as Sydney, and How I Met Your Mother in 2007 in the role of Meg. Bowlby appeared as Natasha recently on All Roads Lead Home, a movie from 2007 about a girl aged 12 who loses her mother due to an accident in the car. Bowlby is starring in the film as Mia, as well in The Slammin Salmon (2008). The actress lives within Los Angeles. She is a redhead, with blue eyes. She's not married and she doesn't have children.
